The Serial Number range for a 1963 Fender Stratocaster Guitar is between 93000 – 99999 or L series plate from L00001 – L20000. Typical Features include a Fender Spaghetti logo , clay dot fretboard markers. Alder body with a maple neck and Rosewood fretboard. Fender Custom Colours available in South Africa in Olympic White , Lake Placid Blue , Fiesta Red , Candy Apple Red , Sonic Blue.

Fender offered the Stratocaster in a Sunburst finish as standard but alternative colours were available. 1963 Also saw some changes in the Fender Stratocaster Hardshell Case from the Brown Case to the White Case with the dark ends. Early 1964 saw the introduction of the Black no logo case. All cases pictured Below.
